The Isle of Man is a small island located in the Irish Sea directly between England and Ireland. Isle of Man Airport (IOM), or Ronaldsway Airport, is situated in the south of the island near Casltetown, 11 kilometres southwest of the capital of Douglas. As this is an island, it is suggested that you find flights into here, because any other alternative travel routes involve a ferry journey as well. In the capital, Douglas, you will find the Isle of Man Museum, Rushen Castle is located in Castletown, Peel features Peel Castle and the House of Manannan Heritage Centre. If none of these appeals to you, then the entire island is well-known for hiking trips, especially along the 95-mile footpath of Raad ny Foillan (The Way of the Gull.)
