Gothenburg is a wonderful place in Sweden. While it may only be the second largest place in the city, Gothenburg is home to Liseberg, which is the biggest amusement park in Scandinavia. In fact, it is the largest attraction (by way of numbers) in the whole of Sweden. Furthermore, taking a trip on the Paddan boats can be a great way to spend an afternoon in the area. As Gothenburg is one of the biggest areas in Sweden and one of the most visited regions, there are two airports that cater the area. Gothenburg City airport (GSE) may be the smaller airport of the two, but you may find what you are looking for here. On the other hand, budget flights to Gothenburg are much more common and as the two airports are just 27 km from one another, you do not need to worry about expensive transfer costs either.
