Graz Airport (GRZ) is situated just six kilometres from the centre of the Austrian city of Graz. Graz is the second-largest city in all of Austria, is the capital of Styria, and is home to no less than six universities the eldest of which was founded in 1585. Graz is a popular spot to holiday as it is home to the old town, which is a World Heritage Site, and nearby castles of Schlossberg Castle at the centre of the city and the Eggenberg Castle, both of which attract many guests. Budget Klagenfurt flights are also a convenient option for low-cost travel; Klagenfurt is just 92 kilometres or one and one-half hours away by car.
