With an operational mix of charter flights and scheduled passenger flights, Wind Jet is an Italian airline that was formed around 2003. Its main base is located in the city of Catania, and as of 2011 it's the fourth largest airline in the country (respective to the number of passengers carried), and it serves a diverse selection of domestic flights as well as European routes.
At the time, the Wind Jet fleet is comprised if eleven air crafts, most of which are Airbus A319-100 and A320-200, as well as two Piaggio P.180 Avanti.
