Condor website: www.condor.comSimply known as Condor, air carrier Condor Flugdienst is a German airline that specializes in holiday flights to destinations as diverse as the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and North America. It features a main base at the Frankfurt Airport (which gathers the company's long distance flights), and several smaller bases across Germany (which handle mostly the Mediterranean bound flights). Unlike most airlines of its size, it actually does not carry charter flights. By 2011, Condor was serving no less than 77 seasonal destinations, more than half of which were served all around the year. It relies on a fleet of 34 airplanes with average age of 13 years, equally divided between Airbus A320-200, Boeing 757-300 and Boeing 767-300ER airplanes. Early in the decade it was acquired by the Thomas Cook group, whose logo was soon clearly inscribed on all vessels. Condor is a highly reputable and reasonably large European airline, with a rich tradition and history of providing long-distance leisure flights to millions of satisfied customers. Some of its distinctive features include three ticket classes (Economy, Premium Eco and Comfort), as well as special discounted prices available for off-season early bookings.
Condor operates flights to and from a wide selection of airports across Europe. Of all of the airports that Condor serves, the following are some of the most popular:
