Fly Baboo (often referred to as simply "Baboo") is a small airline based on Geneva International Airport, in Switzerland. Its operations focus on European grounds, serving mostly regular flights as well as a few charters. It established operations in 2003, and thrived thanks to strategic codeshare agreements with bigger European airlines.
With a fleet comprised of as few as two Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 air crafts with average age of 6 years as of 2011, it was serving a total of 13 destinations at the time (charter destinations notwithstanding) - which was mostly possible thanks to its healthy network of partnerships with other airlines such as Air France, Olympic Air and Alitalia.
At this time, its routes were limited to three European countries asides from Switzerland: Spain, Italy and France. Quite impressively (considering its limited fleet), Baboo has served nearly 1.5 million passengers during its first six years on the business.
